This is a wonderful antique Afshar rug.
Made in Iran (Kerman region) around 1900.
The size is 164 x 190 cm or 5 feet 5 inches x 6 feet 3 inches. The foundation is cotton. The colours are all natural dyes.
Very good condition. Full pile. Very soft wool. This antique rug has been made with a lot of love.
Selvedges are completely original.
A real collectors piece. This rug and would make a great addition for the collectors of Persian tribal rugs.
